Romero Research Program: Cancer Prevention

A large part of Dr. Romero’s clinical research work focuses on cancer prevention. As a member of the Stand Up 2 Cancer Ovarian Dream team, Dr. Romero contributes to studies focused on optimizing ovarian cancer prevention strategies and studies evaluating novel approaches to increasing access to genetic testing. She also collaborates on clinical research aimed at optimizing breast cancer prevention for minority populations. This work has included clinical trials testing breast MRI screening protocols for high-risk populations.
