Research summary: Dr. Brooks's most recent research focuses on genetic differences that influence the risk of metastatic disease in women with endometrial cancer, and metastases in general.  Her other recent research involves the influence of medical comorbidities on treatment tolerance, cancer outcomes, and resource allocation.

Research summary: Dr. Lengyel leads the ovarian cancer research lab in the Department of Ob/Gyn.  His research group utilizes molecular biology techniques, animal models, and patient datasets to understand the important steps in ovarian cancer progression. This knowledge is then used to develop novel therapies for ovarian cancer patients.

Research summary: Dr. Lindau’s research applies the interactive biopsychosocial model - one that considers the individual in relation to her partner, parent or caregiver, and community - and a life course approach to her research, clinical care, and teaching. She focuses on problems in two realms: sexuality in the context of disease and aging, and creating tools to promote the health of people living in poverty.
